Fail Points

There are certain things in life that, if they aren’t working, entirely overshadow everything else. Like how when you’re sick, you can’t remember what it feels like to be healthy. It is always present in your mind, and shades every pleasure.

One example is relationships. When you’re in an unhealthy relationship, it doesn’t matter how great everything else is. Life is just miserable.

Another example is finances. Dealing with financial difficulties is grinding.

The nice thing with these fail points, though, is that as soon as they get resolved, the sun starts shining immediately, like fixing a break in a circuit and the electricity flows. Again, it’s like being sick — when you get better, you can’t remember what it felt like to be sick anymore.

So, aside from finances and relationships, what are some other fail points in life — places that fall apart and leave you miserable until they’re fixed again?
