I stopped by Lowe’s early this morning, and noticed something funny. The cars weren’t all parked at the front of the parking lot like they are at most retailers. Instead, they were parked pretty randomly throughout the lot.

I wonder if you can tell anything about an establishment’s clientelle by looking at where they park. I guess Lowe’s customers don’t mind walking a little bit from their car to the store. Maybe it means that contractors and do-it-your-selfers are more motivated and less lazy than your average Wal-Mart customer. Or maybe it means they know that a store employee will be taking their stuff out to the car for them. I wonder how people park at Michael’s.
