I have mixed feelings about those old Nintendo games. I never had a Nintendo, so I only got to play them occasionally at friends' houses. And invariably, they were sick and tired of the games that I wanted to play, and weren't interested in playing them. So just got glimpses of, say Super Mario Brothers, and was always incompetent at it.

I'm not being sarcastic when I thank you, mom. I mean it -- you did a great job. I don't know if you appreciate how much.

Yeah, I do think Dane would do that. I am not sure no phone number and that kind of design would work well in his field though. Technically inclined people like to use technology and things like that.

Lets see, I dreamed that i and a bunch of firefighters were in a chain link fenced field and there was a fire on one side and a flood on the other side and we had to get everyone out. You'd think the firefighters would go stop the fire and that they would be evacuating everyone, but no, they were running for their lives. Random. And actually, I think the field was next to peoples backyards...

I dreamt the other night that I was hiding with President Obama in a little dugout under some stairs by the elementary school playground. Does that count?

I agree with you. Alma's saying "If you are wicked, then you won't be happy," or, in mathematical notation, W→¬H (wicked implies not-happy).

My point is that, if we take Alma's statement literally, it also says that a happy person is not wicked (because if he were wicked, he wouldn't be happy). The value I see in that view is that it helps resolve guilt in people who have repented of their sins, but who still wonder if they've been forgiven.

Given the context of the scripture, I don't think the standard interpretation is backwards.
